We highly recommend that our guests fly into Los Cabos Airport. SJD is served by a number of major airlines including American Airlines through DFW, Continental through Houston, US Airways via Phoenix, Frontier via Denver, Aero Mexico, Mexicana and Alaska Airlines (with gateways at SEA, PDX, SFO, San Jose and LAX). Fares are quite reasonable and connecting flights are very reliable. SJD is about a 35 minutes from our berth in Cabo San Lucas. For the best deal on airfares we recommend checking www.hotwire.com or the airlines' individual websites.

Things to do in the Cabo-area:
Historic Cabo San Lucas -- Sports and partying are Cabo's main attractions, but there are also a few cultural and historical points of interest. The Spanish missionary Nicolás Tamaral established the stone Iglesia de San Lucas (Church of San Lucas) on Calle Cabo San Lucas, close to the main plaza, in 1730. A large bell in a stone archway commemorates the completion of the church in 1746. The Pericúe Indians, who resisted Tamaral's demands that they practice monogamy, eventually killed him. Buildings on the streets facing the main plaza are gradually being renovated to house restaurants and shops, and the picturesque neighborhood has the most Mexican ambience in town.
